GENERAL
What is WMF?
We’re an alternative festival focusing on music discovery, good vibes & local talent from the Sunshine State for our yearly event. WMF 2022 is Saturday, June 18th
Where is the festival?
Our venue is SkateBird 305, Miami’s first entertainment venue with a state-of-the-art skatepark! Located at 533 NE 83rd St, El Portal, FL 33138
What are the event times?
11am - 10pm
Where can I buy tickets?
Visit our home page or search for Wet Mango Fest on Eventbrite. You can also find a ticket link on all our socials
How much are tickets?
If you missed our early bird sale all tickets are now $30 online and at doors
Where do I watch the stream?
The WMF stream airs exclusively on Twitch. Subscribe to our channel @wetmangofest and join the fest online at 12p twitch.tv/wetmangofest. You can watch via mobile, desktop or Airplay.
How do I signup for Twitch?
To signup for an account, go to https://www.twitch.tv and select the Sign up button on the top-right portion of the page, this will open the Log In / Sign Up screen. Create your username and password.
What time does the festival start?
Doors open at 11am EST. Our first act takes the stage at 12pm! Come early to secure best views and enjoy all the activities available at our event
Can I Take Uber / Lyft to the event?
Yes, we recommend using ride sharing apps
Is There Parking? How Much Is It?
Parking is FREE on a first come first serve basis. There are plenty of parking spots at our extended venue lot across the street. Should those spaces fill up, city self parking is available around the venue. We do not control additional parking by the City of Miami, the City of El Portal or the pricing of parking away from the venue grounds
Is The Event Rain Or Shine?
Yes. Should bad weather arise, guests will be escorted inside the venue to seek shelter and wait out bad weather. Doors will remain open for guests who’d like to exist at their own risk.
Will There Be Places To Cool Down?
Yes, the venue will have electric fans, a misting station and shaded seating areas throughout the grounds. Due to the nature of the venue and the time of the year in Florida, temperatures may rise throughout the day. There will be VERY limited central a/c within select shops at the venue. Please wear comfortable clothing, sunscreen, sunglasses, hats and or small electric hand held fans to protect yourself from the sun and heat. Stay hydrated and seek help from WMF or venue staff in the event of an emergency
How Late Does The Event Go?
Music will end no later than 10:00pm and you will need to leave the venue grounds by 10:30pm

Do You Allow Ins And Outs?
If you have a festival day wristband, you may enter and exit the venue. You will be subject to security screenings every time you re-enter the venue. Should your wristband break, please see staff at doors
Can I Charge My Phone Somewhere?
Unfortunately, the venue has no outlets available to charge phones. Please come prepared with a charged mobile device or battery pack to last the event day. Should you have any emergencies please head to the venue box office for help from WMF or SkateBird Miami staff members
Are Cameras Allowed?
Normal, point-and-shoot cameras and DSLR's with detachable lenses will be allowed during the event. However, you may not have access to the main stage without proper media credential or passes. Security will stop you. If you are looking to obtain a press pass, your best bet is to DM our social media channels or be hired by an artist that is performing at the festival so they may request proper credentials for you
Can I Smoke?
Smoking is allowed strictly at the outside areas of the venue. A designated space labeled THE BAD KIDS SECTION is one of those areas. It’s located opposite the main stage away from the general festival area. You may not smoke under cover of the venue or near ANY children
Is There Lost + Found?
If you lose something please walk to Guest Services located by the main entrance
FOOD & BEVERAGE
What About Water?
You will be permitted to bring in a plastic water bottle or empty camelbacks for this event. There are also free water fountains all along the venue and water available for purchase at the venue bars
I’m Hungry, Where Can I Eat?
There will be a handful of food trucks and vendors serving food and beverage throughout the day. Please come prepared with cash, card or mobile payment options to expedite the process. No crypto is allowed, NERDS! If you have food allergies please request ingredients from the food vendors for safety
Do You Have Vegan + Veggie Options?
Our vegan and vegetarian options are very limited. We are working on partnering with more food vendors in the future for a more diverse selection of vegan and vegetarian friendly options. We apologize for any inconvenience
I am 21 or older, Can I Drink?
Yes, there will be a bar located with limited selections of liquor and beer within the venue. You will be asked to present valid identification prior to purchasing a drink. Please bear in mind this is an all ages event and drinking options will be limited to venue brands. If you are caught drinking under 21, you will be removed from the venue
Do You Accept Cash & Card?
The venue Bar and Box Office will accept both. However, artist merch, food trucks, and other vendors may not accept both forms of payment. Proper payment for those items will be under their discretion
ADA
Wheelchairs
The venue is wheelchair accessible. However, there are parts of the venue that include skate ramps and dips. For help please visit the Main Box Office/Guest Services near the main entrance. Wheelchairs will not be offered on-site
Service Animals
Service Animals are welcome. In keeping with U.S. ADA regulations, disabled guests may use either a dog or service animal that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the guest. The work or tasks performed by the service animal must be directly related to the guest’s disability. As such, animals that solely provide emotional support or companionship to a guest will not be permitted inside the venue for safety reason. This event is not pet friendly and you will have a hard time accessing certain areas with an animal
Noise Cancelling Headphones
Noise Cancelling Headphones are encouraged during the event. Especially for children under the age of 12. Our event is built for heavy noise as part of the festival experience
EMERGENCY
First Aid
Please contact a nearby WMF, SkateBird Miami Staff member or Security Guard if you are hurt or in need of assistance. City of El Portal Police will be on-site to assist with life threatening emergencies and able to dispatch for paramedics if needed
I Am Feeling Overwhelmed, Can I Go Somewhere Quiet?
Yes. If you feel you are in immediate danger or need to separate from the crowd, please head to the venue box office and contact a member from the WMF or SkateBird Miami Staff for help
Security
There will be private security as well as City Police officers on-site prior to doors, throughout the event and closing hours. Please be aware that private, armed security will be roaming the venue grounds at all times for the safety of guests in attendance
Emergency Evacuations
SkateBird Miami representatives have been trained in evacuation procedures. Should an emergency evacuation occur, emergency information will be broadcasted through the main stage speakers or announced via the venue’s public address system

YES small bags - preferably fanny packs or small backpacks - no large bag will be permitted in without a thorough inspection from security. We reserve the right to deny entry should any ticket holder refuse search

YES Factory-sealed E-cigs (i.e., Blu, Juul, etc.) or refillable E-cigs and vape pens

YES Prescription and OTC medications (subject to specific conditions* please request at venue doors)

MEDICAL NOTES Prescription medications are allowed only in the original prescription bottle, any persons attempting to bring in prescription medication must have a government-issued photo identification card that matches the name printed on the prescription, and the pills in the bottle must match the description printed on the prescription. Prescription quantity cannot exceed the prescribed amount needed while the patron is at the festival. Over-the-counter medications are allowed in, provided that they are in their original container

NO Fireworks, firearms, and weapons OF ANY KIND concealed or otherwise
NO Laser pointers
NO Baseball bats
NO Noisemakers
NO Signs or flags on sticks or poles, or larger than what one person can hold
NO Tripods or monopods
NO Chairs, stools or other seating devices
NO Coolers
NO Drones
NO large Professional audio or video recording devices
Any item deemed dangerous or inappropriate by WMF or SkateBird Miami staff will be removed from the grounds
